Stonewall Cymru's Annual Conference took place on Saturday 31 March and was a huge success.
We were joined by representatives from the Police, Crown Prosecution Service, other safety organisations and people from the LGB community at the Dylan Thomas Centre, Swansea for a lively and informative day exploring ways to tackle homophobic hate crime in Wales. Delegates:
The aim of the conference was to increase lesbian, gay and bisexual people's confidence in the police and court services and encourage hate crime reporting leading to a reduction of homophobic hate crime across Wales.
Case Studies
If you have experienced homophobic hate crime we would like to keep a record of your story. Very occasionally, and only with your permission, we may offer your story to the media to highlight the issues facing LGB communities.
