The Wales Domestic Abuse Helpline covers all domestic abuse including domestic violence of men by men and women by women across Wales. The Helpline is open 24hours a day and offers bilingual, free and confidential support to women, children and men. It provides a support and signposting service for those who are experiencing, or have experienced, domestic abuse, friends and family of those experiencing domestic abuse and information for other agencies.

The Dyn Wales / Dyn Cymru Helpline

The helpline helps men, from all over Wales, who are experiencing domestic abuse from a partner to get basic support and safety planning. This service utilises current organisations around Wales and signposts victims on to local service providers.

The all Wales lesbian, gay and bisexual mental health network for lesbians, gay men and bisexuals who either have or have had contact with mental health services through being service users or workers, paid or unpaid.  This group supports the development of Mind's commitment to lesbian, gay and bisexual (LGB) mental health rights awareness programme.
The group:

  • Raises the profile of lesbians, gay men and bisexuals within mental health services; and of mental health issues within the LGB community
  • Holds regular meetings, conferences and events in Wales
  • Is working towards development of a training package aimed at other groups and organisations

Stonewall Information Service

A freephone information service to respond to questions callers have around Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual issues. The information service can also point you in the right direction for legal advice, and give out facts and guidance on all issues affecting Lesbian and Gay life – from civil partnerships and parenting to housing and health as well as everything in between. In addition, the service can refer callers to hundreds of other specialist and regional organisations who can help too

Stonewall can't give legal advice or help you pursue your case or complaint but we aim to put you in touch with the people that can.
