Advertising Standards Authority

The ASA is the independent body set up by the advertising industry to police the rules laid down in the advertising codes. The role of the ASA is to make sure all forms of advertising, whether it is adverts on radio and TV, in newspapers or magazines, amongst others, is both honest and decent.
