Want to help change attitudes towards Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual (LGB) people in Wales?
Ever wondered about what you can do to improve life for LGB people in Wales?
Stonewall Cymru run regular welcome and taster events across Wales, where interested people can find out more about volunteering for Stonewall Cymru and have a go at some volunteering activities.
Volunteering opportunities include: youth anti homophobic bullying advocates, updating the website, contact development, media monitoring, outreach and helping at stalls, policy and research assistants and training assistants.
We welcome all volunteers whether you can commit to 1 event per year or up to 1 day per week.
Soft drinks and light refreshments provided.
We will always repay travel expenses for volunteers to events in your region, just keep your receipts or tickets and ask for an expenses form at the event.
We can also repay any childcare or access costs.
All welcome events last 1 hour and are followed by induction training. You are welcome to attend one or both parts of the event.

Stonewall Cymru run 3 training courses for volunteers when you start volunteering for us. These courses are part of volunteer's induction and are run several times a year in venues across Wales. Training sessions are 2 hours long.
