LGB Have Your Say 2011

Following a successful event in June in South-West Wales we are pleased to announce 3 more events in Mid, North and South-East Wales in October and November 2011. This is an opportunity for you to meet with local decision-makers and service providers of education, health, housing and community safety service to hear what they are doing for local LGB people and share your views on LGB issues. These events will be hosted by the It's No Joke Project and Victim Support Cymru.

If you didn’t get a chance to attend any of these events then the questions are now available for you to answer online. Just click on the link below that corresponds to your area.

Mid Wales

Monday 24th October - Llandrindod Wells Youth Centre - 2.30PM - 6.30PM

What was the best aspect of the event?

Police: “To meet and speak with young LGB persons and find out their feelings and thoughts especially surrounding Police”
Police: “Engagement sessions- working with other agencies and LGBT members”
Police: “Listening to other service providers / organisations regarding issues that affect the LGBT communities”

Representative of a service provider: “Raising the profile of LGB issues. Identifying how to take these issues forward”
