Stonewall Children and Young People’s Services Champion Awards

Learn more about the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards

The Stonewall Children and Young People Service’s (CYPS) Champion Award is an exclusive, optional benefit for local authority CYPS Champions members from across England, Scotland and Wales.

Benchmark your LGBTQ+ inclusive policy and practice across your Children and Young People's Services and give direction to your ongoing work.

We award Bronze, Silver or Gold status to local authorities according to the score your submission receives. The award is valid for two years and all participating local authorities receive a logo which you can use to showcase your performance both internally and externally.

You’ll also receive detailed feedback on your submission in a benchmarking meeting to help set targets for the year ahead.

To apply for a Stonewall CYPS Champion Award, you must be a member of the Stonewall CYPS Champions programme. The cost of applying for an award is included in your annual membership fee.
